The Prom Queens, The Whores of Babylon and The Offbeats @ Logic System Lab Studios

A Live Punk/Rock Show brought to you by Logic System Lab Studios on Saturday March 19th, 2005. The bill of performers started off with The Prom Queens, The Whores Of Babylon, and The Offbeats headlining. This of course was a no cover show complete with an abundance of alcohol and drunk punks an underground scene like none other!

The Prom Queens (Kalamazoo, MI) started off the show with a fluent mix of punk and classic rock that had a great sound. The Prom Queens were full of energy and had a presence of veterans on stage. If you were a fan of the Diving Rods you'd better check these guys out. Directly following The Prom Queens and various smoke sessions The Whores Of Babylon (Kalamazoo, MI) took over with an set that you wouldn't want to miss.

The Whores of Babylon set started off by the singer swinging from rafters and hanging upside down on the stairs. Followed by him screaming in the face of the guitar player from The Offbeats, being thrown across the floor and then being dragged around and never missing a beat. To say the least the Whores Of Babylon have a great stage presence and really know how to work a crowd. Just a note, beware of the Flamboyant singer who could outrage any homophobic redneck that may be lurking in the crowd.

The evening came to a close with The Offbeats (Coldwater, MI). Their set was a nice blend of punk and rock. They had a very intense sound with solid vocals when the mic wasn't cutting out. These guys brought the crowd together for a good ol' fashion slam pit. All in all it was another great show hosted by Logic System Lab Studios with a crowd that was friendly, in a punk sort of way.
